PREPRESS TECHNICIAN

MediaLinx Inc./ Copywell Inc. Canada’s fastest growing full service Digital Printing, Design and Fulfillment House is aggressively expanding within the Canadian marketplace and is seeking an experienced Pre Press Technician

Our product and service offering consists of Total Print Management – Total Design Solutions, Advertising Communications and Third Party Fulfillment and Inventory Management.

Our customer base consists of Small-Medium Size Enterprises, Fortune 1000 Corporations, Educational and Institutional markets.

As a member of our dynamic pre-production Team, you will:  

• Have an extremely high degree of motivation and drive

• Have broad based knowledge of digital printing, paper sttock, off set printing and XEROX Work Flow

• Have knowledge of Digital Pre press production processes and procedures

• Have expert level experience in all graphics software – Photo Shop, Illustrator, QuarkXpress, InDesign, Acrobat, PageMaker, Corel Draw

• Have planning, organizing, and time management skills

• Computer: MAC and PC - MSOffice including Word, Excel, Outlook

• Prepare customer files as per specifications
• Assist in coordinating pre press work flow
• Have proven ability to plan your work and work your plan.

• Have a demonstrated track record of exceeding customer expectations.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

• 3 -5+ years experience in a creative, face paced, entrepreneurial environmentwithin the Digital Printing Industry

• Have a College or University degree in Graphic Arts or related area
